Why I Volunteer
“It’s Girl Scouts. And it’s Girl Scouts out here (in West Carver). I really believe in this program.”
Jessica was a Girl Scout in Mound, Minnesota, attended camp, and was a caddie. Her daughter started Girl Scouts in Kindergarten and Jessica led her troop through their senior year. Introducing them to new things and watching the bond they built with one another and with her was so rewarding.
For the last five years, Jessica has built relationships with her leaders through the Girl Scout Cookie Program. She has seen leaders excitement about Girl Scouts in her community and she is so excited to lead them as Service Unit Manager next year.
“It’s exciting to see these young troops here that want to get involved”
